Q06. Cannot connect to Server ?

.Check if 10/100BaseT wire is correctly installed between WinClient machine and the hub.

.Check with administrator if the Server IP address is correct.

.If Server computer name or domain name is desired instead of specific IP address in creating connection, make sure that you have entered the correct DNS or WINS server if you choose manual IP, or your NT server supply appropriate DNS or WINS server if you choose DHCP.

.Make sure the hub is functioning.

.If DHCP is used, check if DHCP Server in server side has run out of its IP allocations. If the CE image version is 1.1f or higher, try to set to manual IP at Terminal Properties, click Apply button, reselect DHCP, click OK, then reboot to see if this problem is solved. Otherwise, reset flash memory to factory default and re-setup the device setting. Refer to WBT User's Manual for how to reset flash memory for settings.

.If manual IP is used, check with administrator if the assigned IP is qualified.

.Power off WinClient machine and then power on again.

.Clear all settings in flash by following the instruction described in WinClient User's Manual.
