YOTTA III PCIe Series RAID System
YOTTA III PCI-e x8 Gen2 to 6GbSAS/SATA RAID systems are built upon on high performance LSI 800MHz RAID-on-Chip storage processor with x8 PCI Express® 2.0, 800MHz DDR2 memory, and 16 ports of 6Gb/s SAS integrated. It incorporates PCIe x8 Gen.2 host link providing a dramatically performance enhancement and increasing the speed up to twice more than previous generation. In addition, it supports up to 122 SAS/SATA Devices via its SAS Expander port connecting with one or more SAS JBODs providing massive storage more than 200TB with 2TB HDDs installed
New Architecture of External PCIe Attached Raid subsystem takes high performance advantage of PCI Express link (PCIe x8 Gen2) with 4000MB/s data throughput. Its PCIe x8 Gen.2 host link utilizes fully PCIe bandwidth with direct and native IO path from Memory to RAID via DMA scheme eliminate high cost SAS or FC HBA and simplifies data transmission protocol between hosts and RAID systems from current SAS/Fibre RAID systems and minimum CPU overhead and conversion time, as a results it optimize data throughput rate. It also comes with PCIe Repeater Card with Drivers for variety operation system brings no pain on choosing incompatible HBA card.
Moreover, YOTTA III PCIe Attached RAID designed with Performance Equalization Technology that guarantee sustainable performance. It avoids frames dropped while streaming video. It is perfect meet content industry requirements.
