In fact, YOTTA SPORT boasts throughput more than 1300MB/s with SAS host interface and 700MB/s with Fibre host interface, it is fast enough to support Multi-stream SD, uncompressed HD and 2K Film work flows.

Maximize your total throughput
To handle the high performance demand, it is generally a good idea to strip both controllers together with the Operating System. YOTTA SPORT is capable of handling more then 1300MB/s throughput with SAS interface by dual controllers driven by Intel IOP341 processor. You can see the performance chart as follow page.Ħ@
Two storage sub-systems in one
To increase the number of host connections at a minimum cost, the YOTTA SPORT is ideal for this kind of application. The 24/16 bay YOTTA Sport, dual controllers, each controller can be used separately to maximize your investment.
Super Data Safe Vault
If your data is valuable and losing data is not an option due to disk failure, then YOTTA SPORT will be your best choice. By using the Operating System to mirror both controllers, back up is created within the sub-system, which means the data flow is stored the same information in the both controllers to assure the DATA is not losable.
Flexibility and Scalability with SAS expander
YOTTA series with SAS expander can be easily connected to the SAS JBOD to expand the online volume. SAS expander can support up to 128 SAS/SATA II hard drives. JBOD is available in 24/16/12 bay.
RAID 6
A RAID 6 array is essentially an extension of a RAID 5 array with a second independent distributed parity scheme. Data and parity are striped on a block level across multiple array members, just like in RAID 5, and a second set of parity is calculated and written across all the drives. As larger disk arrays are considered, it is desirable to use stronger codes that can tolerate multiple disk failure. When a disk fails in a parity protected disk array, recovering the contents of the failed disk requires successfully reading the contents of all no-failed disks. RAID 6 provides an extremely high fault tolerance, and can sustain two simultaneous drive failures without downtime or data loss. This is a perfect solution when data is mission-critical.
